Snow

Last Wednesday night I flew from Hawaii to Illinois because my mom had surgery on her shoulder. When I arrived it was very cold, but there wasn't any snow. That didn' last long. The next evening it started snowing and snowed all night. This is how it looked in the morning.

Dad and I went out in the back to shovel some of it off. I was a great help. This is mom with her arm in her sling, checking on us. See that smile? It's the pain medication.

Dad shoveling the deck.

Dad shoveling the back walk.Dad going to shovel the front.
He was so glad to have me there to help.

  6. It's been so long since I have seen snow. It is very pretty. Save the boots for me too. I can't wait to wear them.

  10. I'm so relieved to know I'm not the only person who takes pictures of people shoveling snow. I've got some great shots from my mission.
