It's good I live in Hawaii because every now and then I get to see our good friends the Jackmans. This time they went to Maui and so I flew over for a couple of days. It was great!
Here we are at Kaanapali. I asked a passing man and his wife to take the picture. He had a nice camera around his neck, so I figured he would not only know how to work mine, but also not want to run off with it. I was right.
How many heads do you think those hats have been on?
On Thursday we drove to Hana. I have lived in Hawaii for a total of 14 years. I even lived on Maui part of that time and had never been to Hana. So, we went. These are some pictures from our drive there.
I know my eyes are shut, but the background is nice.
Here I am with Lori at a black sand beach. We have been friends for 20 years. I'm glad we still are.
I look so rugged forging this stream with my big Coach bag.
This is a place called 7 pools. There are a few more behind me. Lori, Kassidy, Krystle, and Brett swam around for a bit. It was beautiful. I'm so glad the Jackmans came. I had a great time.

Those pictures of Maui makes me want to go there. I've never been. . .which is ashame! Nice that you got to spend time with your friends.

Please tell me that you purchased that hat. It's absolutely perfect for Derby Day and Nancy would be so pleased. Looks like you and Lori had a great time. I'm glad you got to have a mini vacation with her.
ReplyDeleteI wish that could have been me on the beach with you. It's funny Mindy said the derby thing about the hat because that is the first thing I thought when I saw that picture. It did look very nice on you.
