Evalyn came over Saturday night and brought her parents with her.
They gave her a bath that night in our kitchen sink. I really wish they would have let me clean the dirty dishes out of it first. She didn't seem to mind much though. (they didn't actually put her in the sink.) After Matthew washed her hair Kat tried to comb it. It is very hard to get it to stay down, so Matthew gave it a try. She ended up with a zipper head. Hopefully dad won't be doing her hair when she gets older.
The next morning we put her in a dress for church. She didn't seem too excited about it, but I thought she looked beautiful.
After church we went to Aaron Kamiya's farewell lunch and then home. She was really tired, but was having a hard time going to sleep. Maybe she was just thrown off because it wasn't her normal schedule. When Wendell got home she was still sort of fussy so he picked her up, took her outside, and sat under the tree in our front yard with her until she calmed down. He was still wearing his white shirt and tie. I wish I had taken a picture of that. 
When he brought her in she took a Sunday afternoon nap with everyone else.

Oooooh, I can hardly stand it! I want to hold my little grand niece so much. I really like her fluffy hair. I don't think they should even try to comb it down. And as a personal favor, could you please stop posting collage photos. I can't see them well enough. If I can't be there in real life, I want to be able to see every little detail. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteIs that the new dress you bought her? She is darling and tell Kat she looks great but then I never thought she was really pregnant. Mindy here's a tip: Click on the collage and it will come up bigger for your full enjoyment of your grand niece. You may already know this but usually every picture you can just click on it.
ReplyDeletekat looks so amazing! i love the picture of the family nap, i was hoping we could continue that if our kids get married, now i know it's ok! i felt so priveliged to hold her on sun. especially since i know she didn't really want her passed around, looking forward to her getting a little older and staying at grammie jung's house so i can play with her!

ReplyDeletewow, kat doesn't look she had a baby at all. that's not fair! my fav pic is of just evalyn in her pink dress with her eyes closed. i wish i could have met her on sunday, hopefully next time.
